The launch of RoyScot Finance Group, set up by amalgamating some existing Royal Bank business divisions with new ones, was designed to provide a one-stop shop for business finance.

Research indicated businesses (especially the target audience of SMEs) were finding banks to be generally unhelpful, un-commercial and overly risk-averse.

To create a friendly and sympathetic brand that was also highly focused and business like, we took a clear benefit “It’s our business to help your business grow” and promoted it in a straight-talking, no-nonsense language.

We produced highly visible and highly relevant Group and individual product ads, literature and mailings, all under a recognisable and approachable brand umbrella.
